The village of Mudford is on the A359, about 2 miles from Yeovil, Somerset
St. Mary’s Church, a Grade 1 listed building, is in West Mudford Road on the edge of beautiful countryside. For satellite navigation the postcode is BA21 5TJ
The nearest Railway Stations are at Sherborne, Yeovil Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction.
A frequent bus service runs through the village from Yeovil.

The church is usually open for visitors between the hours of 10am and 4pm, but, if
not, a note in the porch shows where the key may be obtained.
You will find a peaceful atmosphere, but evidence of a busy church life. Take time
for prayer, meditation and contemplation -
Your first visit to a Sunday service:
If you are not a regular churchgoer, you may feel a little daunted about stepping into church...don’t!
Despite the old building, we try to be a church for today’s people and we want you to feel welcome and comfortable.
You can expect:
- A warm welcome at the door.
- The opportunity to sit wherever you like -
we have no reserved seats! - A folder to guide you through the service
- A hymn book -
feel free to join with the singing, or not, as you prefer - A message to help us all in our daily lives
- Help, if you need it, whether you are a committed Christian, or just finding out about Christianity
- An invitation to stay for coffee or tea after the service, to chat and get to know others
We don’t expect:
- A financial offering. (A collection will be taken during the service, but you should feel no pressure to contribute)
- You to do anything with which you don’t feel comfortable
